Tips for starting a climate conversation

Research shows we believe that others are less concerned with climate change than we are and as a result we are less likely to talk about it.

That’s why Re.Climate recently brought together several guests who specialize in climate communications to understand how to start a conversation about climate change.

The guests shared four tips to get started:

  • Make it very local and very personal.
  • Find the everyday influencers in your community
  • Connect the person in front of you to an action within their reach.
  • Just start. Even if you’re scared. You’ll get ideas for improving on the next one.

Want to dive in more? Re.Climate has made a guide and a recording of the webinar available to help break the silence.
