The headlines

Bad news captures attention.

In the climate change space, headlines about policy rollbacks, devastating wildfires and floods, corporate greenwashing and record-breaking temperatures dominate the news. It can make us feel that there is no hope.

But those headlines don’t tell the whole story. Many people around the world are committed to making a difference through policy, solutions, education and building community. Renewable energy prices are falling, reducing carbon emissions across many industries is being tackled and companies and governments being held accountable for their actions. These are the headlines that bring hope and action.

And each one of us can commit to making a difference, both at an individual and systematic level.

It’s not too late.
