Slowing the filling of our recycling bins

We use many containers in our daily lives like the ones used in dish soap, hand soap, laundry detergent and personal products. These fill up our recycling bins pretty quick because once the product runs out, we discard the container after one use.

A way to change this is by going to a refillery store. These stores allow you to fill up old containers with new products, reducing the amount of packaging you use, similar to how you may go to a bulk food store.

You can try putting the term "refillary" into the Ecosia search engine to find one near you. And by using Ecosia for your search, you are planting a tree at the same time.
