We can frame climate action (and progress) around big moments — protests, pledges, breakthrough technologies, bold announcements. But most real progress happens through steady, often invisible work: retrofitting buildings, upgrading heating systems, influencing policies, rethinking supply chains, improving manufacturing efficiency, building community, adjusting buying criteria, tracking emissions data.
The work for each one of us can look different depending on our interests and areas of influence but we can all contribute.
It is good to remember that climate action isn’t about a single breakthrough. It’s thousands of persistent decisions made by people who show up and do the work — even when no one is watching.
