Name that emotion

Extreme events, most recently the devastating wildfires in Los Angeles, can bring up strong emotions relating to climate change.

If you are having trouble naming those emotions you are feeling, the Climate Mental Health Network has developed the Climate Emotions Wheel to help name the feelings. There is also the Climate Emotions 101 that helps explain the emotions and offers tips for navigating them.

Here’s another example of expressing climate emotions. 

Recognizing our emotions around the climate space can help us feel better and gives us an opportunity to connect with others on what emotions they are experiencing.
