Most of us live in cities, and the amount of people living in cities is expected to continue increasing.
From architecture to urban planning, and from computer specialists to concerned citizens, people and city councils (such as the Covenant of Mayors initiatives) are trying to change cities so that they become sustainable (for example, with smart cities or with 15-minute cities).
But what can we, as simple citizens, do (in addition to voting and participating actively in our cities’ politics)? Easy: limit the use of our cars. A few ideas are given in this article, on ways to take cars out of cities. Just by planning your trips to see if you can, at least in part, do it with public transportation, by foot or by bike will help immensely.
