Green bibs gaining momentum

Have you heard about green bibs?

If you are a runner and concerned about your impact on the environment, you will be interested in this program that is gaining momentum in adoption around the world.

This program, so named because you will receive a ‘green bib’, is aiming to give people the choice to run events with less impact. The specifics of each program varies by event, but it can range from opting out of t-shirts and/or finishing medals to free public transportation and donating a portion of the entry fee to an organization focused on environmental sustainability.

As you decide on the next race to train for, consider choosing an event that offers a green bib option.
