Environmentalism isn't a discipline

David Suzuki, a scientist, environmentalist and broadcaster who has made the environment his focal point for decades, suggests that:

“Environmentalism isn’t a discipline or specialty like law, medicine, plumbing, music or art. It’s a way of seeing our place in the world and recognizing that our survival, health and happiness are inextricably dependent on nature.”

In this March interview, which took place a couple of months before his 90th birthday, he talks about his life, career and where the planet’s health stands now.
