Can Chocolate Save Our Planet?

Let’s show our appreciation to The Nature Conservancy and its partners at Agroforestry and Reforestation Accelerator Brazil for helping to restore 18,000 hectares of Amazon rainforest. The main objective of this project is to plant cacao trees for agroforestry and carbon sequestration. This is a public-private partnership involving 3,000 families in the State of Para in the Brazilian Amazon.

We want to collectively celebrate The Nature Conservancy for leading in this work. Let them know we appreciate their efforts by thanking them on social media. Your post could sound something like this:

Thank you Nature Conservancy and Agroforestry and Reforestation Accelerator for restoring 18,000 ha of Amazon rainforest–helping local cacao farmers and sequestering 9.6 million tonnes of CO2. Your friends at the Carbon Almanac Network, and the world, support your efforts. #thecarbonalmanac #factsconnectionaction
