C40 is a group that represents almost 100 cities around the world which makes up about 20% of the global economy.
The focus of C40’s work is to address climate change.
Together the member cities are committed to cutting half of their greenhouse gas emissions by 2030. Through exchanging best practices and experiences, the cities can help each other find the most cost-effective and time-efficient path forward.
Each member must meet the leadership standards and their progress is reviewed annually to maintain their active status in the network.
