Girlfriend Collective is an athleisure retailer that turns trash into fashion.
They have searched the globe for materials and facilities that release the smallest amount of carbon possible. Their raw materials come from recycled water bottle, discarded fishing nets, cotton waste, and recycled packaging.
[Did you know: Polyester made from recycled plastic emits approximately 79% less carbon than polyester made from virgin plastic. And using cotton waste can reduce carbon emissions by nearly 75%.]
The result is clothing for women and men that looks good (available in sizes up to 6XL) and does good for the planet. And when you’re done with your clothes, they will take them back and recycle them again.
We want to collectively celebrate girlfriend collective’scommitment to reduce carbon emissions in every step of their process. Let’s tell them we appreciate their efforts.
