Stopping The Spread Of Deserts

About two-thirds of the world is desertifying. But this process can be halted or even reversed.

Biologists and ecologists like Allan Savory are putting ideas into practice. Fossil fuels burning are not the only cause of climate change. Land management is another important factor.

Savory Institute uses livestock and planned grazing to mimic nature and restore fragile grasslands. They call it Holistic planned grazing.

You can watch his TED Talk to hear how this change could impact our planet.

We want to collectively celebrate The Savory Institute for this research. Let’s join in a powerful THUNDERCLAP and thank them on social media. Please remember to tag the Savory Institute in your posts.

Your post could sound something like this:

@SavoryInstitute - Thank you for your research and work to stop desertification on our planet and provide a proven methodology to regenerate degraded lands. Your friends at the Carbon Almanac Network see you making a difference. #factsconnectionaction #thecarbonalmanac
