Is the Perfect Lawn Worth It?

The front lawn is a status symbol created in England and imported to North America. A sweeping, weed-free lawn was–and still is– a status symbol, demonstrating success and wealth.

A status symbol that  requires water, chemicals, and fuel.

As the environmental and financial costs of a front lawn become clear, some homeowners are switching to a different approach based on regenerative agriculture – letting lawns grow naturally and keeping the carbon underground where it belongs.

The new status symbol is no yard at all.

Don’t keep it a secret. Please forward this to someone who needs to hear about it.
