Tree planting is often described as hard work. One job posting described it the role as not for the faint of heart as you would be challenged both physically and mentally. You are expected to plant between 1000-4000 trees a day.
But if you were going for a record, you'd have to plant more than that.
Canadian Antoine Moses holds the Guinness World Record for most trees planted in 24 hours.
Just how many did he plant?
23060.
That works out to an average of 16 trees every minute.
The previous record was just over 15,000 trees, set in 2001.
Thank you to Antoine for his commitment to reforesting and helping address climate change.
